Little Duke came to us about 4 years of age after his owner had passed away in 2021. He was adopted 3 years ago to a very nice family that originally met his needs. Now his favorite human will be going away to college and can not take him. Duke is looking for a super quiet home where he can relax and not have to worry about a lot of people coming in and out of the home. He has lived with other animals in the past but really would prefer to be the only dog in the house. If there is another doggy companion, it would have to be as chill as Duke. His current family wants to find the best place for him so that he doesn't have to stress. He likes to go for car rides, he has a favorite lamb toy, he does play in short spurts, and like to go for walks. He doesn't like quick movements, loud noices, new people, children, clipping toe nails, or vet visits. He has no issues with thunderstorms or fireworks. Any home that chooses to adopt Duke must know that it will take time for him to acclimated to his new environment. He will nip or bite when he is afraid.
