Abigail American Staffordshire Terrier Charlotte, NC

Hi my name is Abigail!! My foster mommy loves to tell me how I am so brave and forgiving after all the trauma I've lived. I've been abandoned a few times and everytime I was my health got worse and worse. I ended up being dumped at the county shelter 1 year ago which I had bad skin allergies and infection as well as Entropian from all the swelling. I got better and was adopted from the shelter. Fast forward 1 year later to January 2024, I was found on the side of the road sitting next to my dog food bowl, emaciated and covered with Demodex Mange. It hurt so badly from all the itching which caused lots of open wounds on my paws and body.
My foster mommy saw a plea for help on this thing called social media and she jumped in her car and drove 2 hrs to get me. She is my hero who loves me so much and has got me healing very well and finally happy again. She made me a promise that she will never let me go until the safest and bestest family finds me. I love people!! I love to snuggle and show how much I appreciate being saved from a life of loneliness and pain. I love my kiddos that live in my foster home. They make me so happy. I'm a perfect house quest, crate and potty trained too. I know commands, walk well on leash and have amazing manners.
