Dear Potential family, Woof!

I'm Abel, a lively four-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with an exciting tale to share as I eagerly seek my forever home. I'm a high-energy pup, ideally suited for adults who can match my zest for life. Leash walks are an absolute joy for me, with the excitement building up before settling into the stroll. I can handle long walks and hikes like a champ, thriving in the spotlight as the only child in your home - after all, all eyes should be on me! :)

Now, here's the scoop - I have been dog-tested, but I have a pretty rough and mouthy play style. Most dogs may not appreciate it unless they enjoy some serious roughhousing. So, unless you have another dog that likes to play as I do, I'd probably do best as an only child. I'll need your attention, some exercise to burn off this energy, and perhaps a little help with my manners.

It's worth noting that I'm listed as no children simply because I don't recognize my size, and I haven't learned to be gentle around children. So, older or dog savvy children should be fine.

Abel is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
