Meet Abbey

Abbey is a 2-3 year old Husky /Malamute mix. She has a docile and sweet personality. Although she is somewhat aloof, she also loves people and becomes attached quite quickly. Her loyalty is obvious and I think that is the trait I love about her the most. She is so in awe of her person and wants to please! Abbey loves children, in fact she literally melts when the grandkids
are over. She also seems oblivious to cats and although we don't have one she does not react when she sees one. Abbey is more comfortable with smaller dogs and shys slightly when in the prescence of larger dogs. Abbey
will make an amazing pet and companion to one lucky person or family. But
dont forget .....Abbey is a Husky!!!! Although she shows no desire to wander off and run we will require a home with secure fencing and someone who is commited to exercise her as needed on a daily basis, Although Abbey does not seem typical of the Husky breed we do not want underestimate that she is an Artic dog. Her new home should be one that allows her inside to be a part of the family because that is where she wants to be. Please take into consideration that Abbey has a very thick winter coat that will need to be combed and given the necessary upkeep especially as temperatures begin to warm up. Abbey is just about a perfect dog!!! To note she will howl as Huskys are known to do but it is not excessive or constant, Her stature is on the smaller size which makes her stand out among the breed. If interested in adoption please complete an on-line application. Her adoption fee is $350 and she is spayed, up-yo-date on shots and microchipped. That fee also helps us to continue to help dogs in need.
