Meet Sequoia Scaredy Cat

Sequoia has been at Sunrise over a year and is now a very big boy. He is one of the Western cats; came in with 4 siblings, two of whom have now been adopted. They are docile and quiet, non-aggressive and good with other cats, but they are still shy with people even after all this time. They will likely get more comfortable in a home but may never be the kinds of needy clingy cats who ever demand a lot of attention. This could make them a good option for people who work long hours as they will not be lonely while you are out.

Some of our volunteers do pick them up and carry them around, even sit with them for lap time. They go along with it, but it is never their idea.

Sequoia's siblings still available at Sunrise are Laramie and Canyon.

As part of our "Scaredy Cat" program for cats good with others but shy with people, their adoption fees are waived for the perfect adopters!
