- Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Zane has hyperthyroidism that is controlled by a medication that he easily takes twice daily in a bit of his food. He is responding well to the medication. Zane has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+), which is a CAT ONLY disease that decreases the ability of the immune system to fight some infections. FIV+ is not easily passed between cats. It CANNOT be transmitted casually through shared litter boxes, water and food bowls, or when snuggling or playing. FIV is most commonly transmitted via deep bites during cat fights, the virus is present in the saliva of infected cats. With appropriate care and treatment of chronic conditions, most FIV+ cats live long, healthy and relatively symptom free lives.

Meet Zane
Zane is a great guy! He takes a little while to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, it’s all pets, purrs, and cheek scratches. He can’t get enough. He's got a luxuriously soft coat that is a pleasure to pet. His favorite is being brushed and he melts into a puddle as you can see in this video: https://vimeo.com/324835575
He loves his meals and is a social eater! He likes getting pets in between bites of his food. Zane is looking for a cat experienced home where he can have time to adjust to new surrounding and new people. He is a love and wants a forever home!
