Meet Yonah Yonah is a gorgeous black and white 'cow' kitten, born in April of 2022. He and his siblings and several other kittens were abandoned by the side of the road in a box. Sadly for Yonah, he was adopted last year but was returned when his mom moved to a place she could not take him. Yonah was abandoned again . . . he was so very sad but has settled into our cat room. He is super confident, outgoing and friendly and loves to be cuddled and loved. We know that Yonah will thrive in a home environment. He loves all the other kitties (especially his brothers Luke and Xavier) and staff and visitors. Yonah loves children and will play for happily with them. Yonah has been neutered, micro chipped, and is current on all vaccines. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
