Yen Domestic Short Hair Mix Oakland, NJ

Yen was trapped along with her sister Leone as a kitten. They had some pretty strong feral tendencies, so we sent them to a socialization foster who worked tirelessly to gain their trust. Luckily, they did well in their foster home and grew to trust and even like people! She has come so far since returning to RBARI and now resides in a free-roam room with several other cats.

Yen is still a bit on the shy side, but will come down from her perch to say hello after she takes a few minutes to suss things out. She has the cutest button nose that just makes you want to give her a "boop"! Once she really trusts you, her personality shines and you'll see that she is a sweet and loving girl. She is more than content to spend her days watching the cars go by from her window perch or sleep curled up next to you on the couch. We think this sweet little lady would do best in a home with one or more other cats to really help build her confidence.
