Hi, my name is Wheezy, and I'm an adult dilute tortoiseshell kitty girl. I am curious about lots of stuff, and I am definitely going to watch you when you come in. Mostly because I want to get some pets, and maybe give you some head butts, but only if you approach me respectfully. I'm a lady, after all. I have an elegant purr, and would love to find a furever home soon! Melepomene and I are sharing a cage now. We kept opening the dividers so we could interact and play with each other. The shelter staff removed the dividers so now we both share one big cage and really enjoy spending more time with each other.

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
