Meet Twinkle

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

Twinkle was rescued from outdoors where she was one of several cats being looked after by a caretaker. Because it was winter, she developed an eye infection which was too far gone by the time veterinary intervention was possible. With proper medication and loving foster care, she has recovered and is a healthy and active young kitty. Her one-eyed “wink” is part of her “T”wink”ling” personality!

Twinkle has come a very long way since her rescue. She is still a little shy but will warm up to you once she gets comfortable. She likes being petted and will show her belly when approached slowly. She enjoys CatIt and Churu creamy treats, but strangely, is not a big fan of wet food (she does like some flavours from Fancy Feast pâté and Hills Kitten chicken flavour though). She has a healthy appetite and currently eats Hills Kitten kibbles. Twinkle is active and playful, the feather wand toy and laser pointer being some of her favourite toys. She mingles quite nicely with the other fosters, and will definitely need a young, playful best friend at her forever home who can match her energy level and playfulness. Overall, Twinkle is a lovely kitty who responds nicely with a little patience, playtime and treat bribes. This girl will take over your heart in no time flat!

Would you like to make Twinkle a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at:

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
