Meet TURNIP

AGE: 8 - 9 months (as of 01/24/24)

DESCRIPTION: DSH - Chocolate Tabby & White

LOCATION: PETS Shelter (114 W Main Street) - Panora, IA

MY STORY:
We were contacted by a lady that had an unaltered cat that had had 5 kittens wanting to know if we could help. We agreed to take the family to prevent the same thing from happening again, unfortunately she only brought 3 of the kittens (and we do not know what happened to the to the other 2 kittens and the unspayed mama) . Fortunately, the three kittens were very healthy, socialized, and will have nice indoor homes and will not be able to reproduce and add to the overpopulation problem.

Turnip and his brother, Radish, are just as cute and fun as can be. They go a mile a minute playing and running and wrestling and then find a quiet spot out of the way to curl up and take a much needed nap. And although they are playful and fun they are not destructive or rambunctious and are just the nicest of kittens. He has a bit of a sensitive tummy but has done well with a prescription sensitive stomach food that can be purchased from the vet or a mail order service with a vet prescription. Turnip has the cutest of tabby coats that is accented purrfectly with white!

MORE DETAILS:

We ask that interested parties fill out a cat adoption questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting this sweet kitty. You can get the application by going to our website at "http://www.panorapets.com/adopt"
and clicking on the "Cat Adoption Questionnaire" button at the top of the page. Once you have submitted the questionnaire, an adoption coordinator will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient and thank you for your interest in this kitty.

P.E.T.S. supports the "Paws Need Claws" Campaign. Cats are rather attached to their claws; please do not de-claw your cats.
