Meet Turkey and Gravy

Turkey (M) and Gravy (F, with white spot on chest) are 5-6 month old kittens that were trapped just before Thanksgiving. They are a bonded pair and initially are very shy and skeptical of humans. However, since being in their foster home they have come to love - and demand - snuggles and pets.

Though they look a lot alike they are opposites in many ways! Turkey loves likable treats and can be quite vocal when he wants company and attention. He enjoys having behind his ears scratched and is eager to make friends with other cats and dogs. He is still spooked by sudden movements but is becoming more courageous each day.

Unlike her brother, Gravy has no interest in lickable treats or wet food. The way to her heart is crunchy treats and pets to her back and tail (then you have permission to pet her head). She’s a quiet girl and the sweetest snuggle bug. When she warms up to you she will climb into your lap and lean against you and look up to you lovingly with the sweetest kitty cat eyes.

These two will do best in a quiet home. Their purrfect adopter will be patient and is willing to give them time - possibly a few weeks - to come around and gain their trust.

Unfortunately for Turkey and Gravy, as older, shy, black kittens they are more likely to be passed over. But there’s nothing more rewarding than gaining a cat’s love and trust. They’re hopeful a unicorn adopter is out there and willing to give them a forever home.

To be considered, please apply at feistyfelines.org/adoption-application. Adoption fees for kittens are $150/one or $250/pair, adults are $100. “Shy guys” and special cases may be discounted. Includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines up to date, dewormed, flea treated, and combo testing done on the litter.
