Tibbey American Shorthair & Russian Blue Mix Atlanta, GA

Tibbey is 30 weeks as of 2/26/21

Tibbey is a sweet, adorable, and playful gray and white shorthair mini cat. Miniature cats are about half the size of a typical cat with stubby legs, a round face, and a shorter tail. Tibbey will likely remain petite forever.

Tibbey appeared one day behind a Pizza Hut in McDonough, GA. There is a feral cat colony there, but she was clearly friendly! We don’t know where she came from or her previous experiences. Because of this, she can occasionally be skittish and shy. Tibbey needs a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to warm up.

Although shy at first, Tibbey is a purr monster. When she feels comfortable with you she will start purring almost immediately after you pick her up. She is happy to nap on your chest while you watch tv on the couch purring in your ear. She’s so enthusiastic you might need to turn the volume up!

Tibbey isn’t super active, but when she is, this girl LOVES to play! Tibbey is obsessed with jingly balls and loves to chase them all over the house and play with them in her hidey bed. String toys are a close second - Tibbey is always ready and willing to swat at them.

Tibbey enjoys playing with other cats and relies on them to help bring her out of her shell. She will need a friend in her forever home. For this reason she must be adopted into a home with another young and playful cat.

Tibbey has been in a foster home with a dog, and adult and teenage cats. She hasn't been around children but we believe she could thrive in a home with children who are gentle, sensitive and understanding of her personality.

She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and flea-free. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

We are a small group of volunteers and because of the high volume of inquiries that we receive, we will respond quickest to an application. Adopters must live in the Atlanta metro area. A home check is required for all adoptions.
