LOCATION: PETS Shelter (114 W Main Street) - Panora, IA
MY STORY:
People began noticing Tia and her sister, Tamara, hanging out by a local bank. Passers by would give them little scraps of food and would often see them curled up together sleeping in a makeshift bed. As the weather turned cold and it didn't appear the girls had any place to go home to, a concerned citizen contacted us to get them some help.
Tia and Tamara couldn't be any friendlier or nicer if they tried. After just a few days to settle in to all the new sights and sounds of the shelter, they seem to fit right in. Tia seems to be just a smidge more outgoing but they are both very social and sweet. Tia is a low maintenance kitty and is lacking the "tortitude" that comes with so many torties! LOL Even though she has not been with us for very long she is already comfortable roaming throughout the shelter and does great with all the other kitties. Tia has an amazing deep dark tortoiseshell coat that is purrfectly accented with white.

Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.
