Temple Calico & Domestic Short Hair Mix The Woodlands, TX

Temple is a beautiful dilute calico that was rescued outside a Buddhist temple when she was about a year old. She was starving and had spent most of her life dodging a pack of stray dogs. Thankfully, she befriended the monks at the temple who fed her and helped her get placed in a foster home. She happily adjusted to life as a housecat, took to the litterbox right away, and has been learning to play and socialize with humans and other cats ever since. Despite having a rough start at life, Temple's curiosity, intelligence, silliness, and adventurous nature have allowed her to blossom into a very special cat. Temple can be independent and values her personal space but is also spontaneous and loves to play with her person. She is not afraid to make her presence known and loves being a part of the action every day, even if sometimes just watching from distance. Temple is a little sweet, and a little "spicey" and may not be suited well for a household with children. Her ideal match would be an experienced cat person with the time, space, patience, and compassion to help her feel secure and happy.
