Teddy is a sweet kitty who was adopted from Whiskers in 2014 as a kitten. His owner passed away, so he is back with a Whiskers foster family, looking for a new home. Teddy will let you know when to pick him up and put him on your lap. He has a neurological condition (cerebellar hypoplasia) that makes him walk oddly, and he can't jump up onto a lap or a bed, sofa, etc. He can pull himself up onto a sofa or upholstered chair. He likes to sleep with his person, and he can get into bed if you have some carpeted cat steps nest to the bed. His condition does not affect his personality, and he can eat and drink and use the litter box just fine. It is not contagious to other pets or people.

Teddy has been diagnosed with urinary crystals, so he must eat food prescribed by his veterinarian. He is currently eating Hill's C/D wet and C/D dry food. It is ok for other cats to eat this food.

Teddy would like to be your one and only kitty.
