Meet Sylvester
Sylvester gets his name after the sweet, lovable, and comical Looney Tunes cartoon cat. That’s because he’s game for an adventure, especially when it involves chasing toys around and getting a bit of catnip.
Sylvester has opened up a lot since he was rescued after two harrowing days of being trapped on a fire escape, meowing to be rescued. He had been abandoned by his humans without food or water on the third floor of a building in Brooklyn. Neighbors believe that he was also mistreated. At first he couldn’t be seen on the fire escape, but people on the street heard his plaintive calls and arranged for his rescue, which we are so grateful for.
Now Sylvester enjoys life and lets you know. He’s a curious boy and has quite the gift of gab, with meows hello and to ask for some pets and scratches around the ears or just to cuddle up. He also wants to be the star of the show at home, so needs to be an only cat. Meet this loving boy and show him what a caring forever home can be.
