Greetings, there!
My name is Stella; i'm about 6 1/2 or 7 years old. My adoption fee is $125, and I'm looking for a home in the Richmond, Virginia metro area.

Sadly, my female owner that I adored recently passed away. Her husband is elderly, and he moved to assisted living and was unable to take me with him. I'm very sad because I miss my owner and I miss my home. I'm totally out of sorts and am unsure how I ended up with Hanover Humane. Even though my living situation has changed and my life is very different, the volunteers with Hanover Humane say that I'm very agreeable and have adapted well to my new setting. I don't mind being handled or brushed, and I don't seem to mind the other kitties in my foster setting. That's a good sign that I would do well in a home with another calm kitty. Please, no small children or dogs for my new home as I don't think I would settle well in an active environment.
