It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.


SPOTTIE DOTTIE, her 3 siblings (BILLY - MY MELODY - KUROMI) and her mom HELLO KITTY were saved by a sweet man in his neighborhood in South Central, California. The neighbors were shooting the cats in the neighborhood. So the man that put her and her family in his bathroom. One of our rescue contacts called us. They went to our foster.


SPOTTIE DOTTIE is now ready for his "FUREVER" home. FYI: Her and her family were named them after the show HELLO KITTY.


Meet SPOTTIE DOTTIE, a young feline full of life and energy. She's a curious and smart kitty, always up for a playful games and a good wand. Her goofiness will keep you entertained, her sweetness will melt your heart. Although a bit shy at first, SPOTTIE DOTTIE quickly warms up, showing her friendly, gentle side.


She's slightly independent, yet loves a good cuddle session. Her loyalty is unwavering, and she's got a hint of sass that keeps things interesting. Mellow yet energetic, SPOTTIE DOTTIE is a bundle of contradictions that make her all the more endearing. SPOTTIE DOTTIE is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / DILUTED CALICO MIX. She is about 1 year and 1 month old. She is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. She has never been around children. She's really good with guinea pigs too!

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

MAY 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations are always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
