Spirit Domestic Long Hair Wells, ME

This lovely 10 year old beauty needs a very special home where she can feel safe and secure and loved as she transitions from the loving care of her previous owner (now moving into assisted living) into the heart of her new owner who will patiently help her learn to trust, again.
Sprit is incredibly sweet, but fearful at times, and would do best as the only pet in the home and in a home without children. She will need lots of understanding and would do best with a person or family that is cat savvy and patient and tunes into cats.

Once Spirit adjusts and learns to trust again, she will be ready to cuddle up to you on the couch and even join you on the bed at night. Brushing her long, beautiful coat can be a wonderful, calming connection that you can make with her.

Spirit can be difficult to medicate, she occasionally needs eye meds. She's healthy, we just had her receive a dental and her senior blood work which came out very healthy. She is a little bald around the eyes due to a herpes dermatitis she had in 2018 which resurfaces when she is stressed and her immune system is challenged (like all of us).
