Meet Spatula

Hi! My name is Spatula but I also go by Rosie!

I was found fall 2016 with my mom and 7 siblings under a house when I was only a few weeks old. Sadly we were all very sick and my mom kept trying to move us but left some behind. This nice lady crawled under the house and gathered us all up after our mom was missing for a few days. She kept going back and finally captured our mom too! She reunited us but mom was really feral, malnourished, and stopped producing milk. The nice lady got our mom spayed and healthy, then after a few months she returned her to a place where she would be taken care of but also free. Sadly all of my siblings passed away but two. Since there were so many of us and we all looked like cookie cutout of our mom, the rescue named us after appliances in order to keep track of us but we all have nicknames, so you don't have to call me Spatula forever!

The people here are really nice and I love them! I spent awhile in a foster home that had children, other cats, and a dog...so I LOVE everyone. I also really love to play! My sister Dishwasher and my brother, Crock Pot, got adopted I am still available as of 5/30/18. It's not necessary that I go to a home with another kitten from the rescue but there must be another cat in the home for me to play with. Please consider adopting me!!!

ADOPTION PROCESS- Due to the interest in our Whiskers we ask that you email lovablewhiskers@gmail.com for an application. Once applications are returned, we review them in the order they are received. Once approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet with the animal(s) you are interested in. Please note that animal(s) will not be allowed to leave this facility until after they reach 9 weeks and have been spayed/neutered. Adoption fee is 120.00 and includes spay, microchipping, deworming, flea prevention, and rabies vaccination.
