Meet Sparkles
Sparkles the sweetheart is a volunteer favorite. She will rub up against your legs and look to you longingly for a scritch on her cheek. And yet, she has been overlooked. Our girl has a food sensitivity and as a result, she has very itchy skin. She's scratching so much that it is causing sores on her face. We are stuck: It is impossible to regulate her food intake in our open environment, and it would break our hearts and Sparkles' spirit to cage her.
