Shiitake is all that and a bag of chips. He is an athletic, playful, loving adolescent cat who plays well with dogs, cats and kids. He makes friends quickly and is easy going with those resistant to his charms. He is a fan of tag and adapts to other games his friends like to play. He loves the dog and offers her purrs and rubs regularly. A favorite of our junior volunteers for his happy disposition and playful heart.


Please know that for every one of our cats and kittens who gets posted online, there are 5 who aren’t. If the one you’re applying for finds it’s forever home before you have a chance to meet it, there will be plenty more to meet at our adoption events and we would love to help you find your next furry family member.


All cats and kittens who are adopted out through Community Cat Advocates have been tested, vaccinated to age appropriate levels, microchipped and spayed or neutered. We are a foster based rescue and all cats and kittens live in a foster house when not at adoption events.
