Despite months of rigorous treatment with various medications and antibiotics, her left eye became so severely infected that it posed a threat of spreading to her brain. In a difficult but necessary decision, the choice was made to enucleate (remove) her left eye to preserve her health and well-being.

Now, with only a slight pupillary response in her right eye, Screech likely sees only shadows, yet this hasn't hindered her zest for life in the slightest. Despite her visual impairment, Screech lives each day to the fullest, embracing joy and playfulness with unwavering enthusiasm.
