Scrabble Domestic Short Hair Bloomsburg, PA

Scrabble and his four siblings (Marbles, Scategories, Parcheeesi, & Yahtzee) were born near an elementary school to a grey stray momma and a big, fluffy, black polydactyl (extra toes) stray pappa. Three of the 5 kittens are also big-footed polydactyls. Luckily, neighbors fed and provided the kittens & their mother shelter until they reached out to our shelter for help.

Scrabble & siblings were older (8 weeks old) when they entered an ARC foster home, so socialization was needed. All the kittens all had some access to the dogs in the foster home, but that was limited as to not frighten them during their socialization. The kittens could probably acclimate to a home with dogs if the dog has already been around cats. While Scategories, Parcheeesi, & Yahtzee went to the shelter at 4 months of age, Scrabble stayed at his foster home so he could get more socialization since he was the last of the 5 kittens to be caught and brought to the foster home. His brother Marbles stayed with him because they love cuddling and playing together.
