Scout and Dingle Domestic Short Hair Eaton Rapids, MI

Scout and Dingle are both extremely sweet and gentle kitties looking for their forever home. They are a bit shy still. Both were found together outside, terrified and cold. Both were also underweight, and seemed confused about being outside. They were likely abandoned. Scout has a slight head tilt from possible trauma, but does not show any cognitive deficits at all. Scout loves to be held by those he trusts, and will spend his time nuzzling your face, making biscuits, purring, and napping. He loves to snuggle on your chest under a blanket, with his head poking out! Dingle doesn’t love being picked up, because he is nervous, but he loves laying next to you and snuggling. He even loves belly rubs, and will roll right over! He may grow to like being held, as he gets more comfortable with his family. Both will need a patient adopter, as they will first hide in places where they feel safe. Dingle is Scout’s very best friend. Scout looks for Dingle whereever he goes, and he loves to cuddle up with him. They both are always cuddling or playing together any chance they get. Dingle is very gentle, patient and loving towards Scout, as Scout often rubs against Dingle and lays on him. Both cats love to snuggle with cozy blankets and in beds, and they enjoy human attention despite initially feeling nervous. They would likely do well with other cats with a slow introduction, but they have not been around dogs. A quiet home would be best, since they are still learning to trust humans. Both kitties use the litter box well, are neutered, and have tested negative for FIV and FeLv. Scout is about two years old and Dingle is about three years old. It’s clear that both kitties are already very grateful for the love they receive. With love and patience from their new family, they will continue to show more and more of their sweet and gentle personalities, and their people will reap huge rewards. Scout's and Dingle's adoption fee is $160, which includes neutering, a 1-year rabies shot, a FVRCP shot, microchipping through 24petwatch (1-25-23--CAHS).and testing for feline leukemia and FIV.
