Hello, my name is Sassafrass (Sassy for short)! Do not let my nickname fool you, I am the sweetest cat. I love being around people. I have the cutest meow and never stop purring/asking for pets when humans are around! I am looking for a home with an owner who can regularly provide me with snuggles and lap time. I love being warm and taking naps (preferably in the warmest place possible, which is most certainly your lap). I would prefer a home where I can go at my own pace and where others will be patient with me, as I am about 12 years old and entering my senior phase of life. I am currently being fed a special kidney diet and my new owner would need to be willing to continue this diet so that I stay happy and healthy. I very much enjoy my new affordable diet and am a great eater! My new owner would also need to take me to the vet more frequently than an average cat, due to the fact that I am in Early Stage Chronic Kidney Failure and am prone to UTIs. I am an older cat, and with this comes some mild health complications. I need someone who is willing to be there for me and provide me with the care I deserve. I am looking for a nice quiet environment that makes me feel safe. I strongly prefer to be in home without other cats, but I will do my best to adapt to living with another pet if necessary. I may be a bit older, but I am the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, loving, and very special girl.
