Meet Salem
Her elderly owner could no longer care for as evidenced by the condition in which the family returned her to the shelter after 6 years. She was beyond severely matted with hardened, large, clumps covering her back. After an immediate grooming/shaving and a bath to remove the itchy, dry skin, she was no longer no in pain. Her fur has grown back giving her pain free movement which she enjoys.
