Hello. I earned my name, Ruffian, as I suddenly showed up in a neighborhood with several apartment complexes and started chasing after all the females and trying to fight with all the males. I would not back down even if the other males did not want to fight and just tried to get away from me. The people who lived around there were getting very upset with me because of all the problems I was causing and all the noises I was making. One of the girls who lived there contacted Miss Tana to come try to trap me. No one wanted her to bring me back either. I had definitely worn out my welcome.

Miss Tana tried for several weeks, but even though tempted, I would not go inside the traps. Finally she decided to use some warm rotisserie chicken. Turns out, I could not resist and got caught. She then took me to get neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, and microchipped. She also made sure I was external and internal parasite free. My temporary home after neuter was in a basement with windows and also windows on the doors. I warmed up to Miss Tana pretty fast and assured her I was not really a wild, feral boy. I have gained a lot of weight since living inside, and I now live on the main floor of her grandparents' house with my female friend, Junebug. She was a stray at the same neighborhood and apartment complexes. We sometimes don't play nice with each other, but it is not really a problem. It is more like just kind of our personalities and how we are. We get along well by our own standards and miss each other like crazy if either one of us get put up separately for a while for some reason.

We would like to live in a home where we are the center of tlc attention instead of always having to compete for Miss Tana's time and affection. Could you be our people and sharing your home with you our dream come true? Please give us a chance. We really are a great pair of cats.
