Rue is a beautiful, sweet girl who was rescued cold and starving on a busy street by a kind lady! She is about 8 months old. She loves to lay on laps, purring the whole time. Her coat is super soft and is a beautiful light grey tabby color.

She really loves to play fetch with her toys and is excellent at retrieving her toy and placing it in her foster mom's hand! She's gentle with little kittens, since she was placed in a foster home with little ones. She also loves toys she can bat around and carry around in her mouth.

She can be persistent and a little possessive with food, because she had to forage for food on her own for awhile on the streets. So will need someone patient and persistent in keeping her away from people food, and give her a portioned amount of her food.

Rue needs to be adopted with another kitten or young cat, or into a home with a young cat who will play with her. She does great with other cats, dogs, and will likely do well with kids due to her sweet nature, but she's not a big fan of being picked up and carried around. She is a gem of a cat though, the right family for her will be so lucky to have her.

We require kittens to be adopted in pairs or into a home with another young kitty. Please see our website to understand why. https://www.thekittenscradle.org/adoption-application/adopt/pairs/

All cats are vetted, which includes feluk testing, deworming, age appropriate vaccines and spay or neuter.

The Kittens Cradle is foster based which means that our adoptable cats are all in caring foster homes throughout the twin cities area. If you are interested in meeting this kitty, please call 763-350-9871 or email us at info@thekittenscradle.org
