I wish I was a little bit more chipper, but I’m sorry I’m just not right now… and I can’t even pretend. This is what happened, I had a home and an owner that loved me, but my owner is moving overseas, and can’t take me. I’m so so sad about that and so so confused that now I am here at the shelter. They are all so nice to me, but it’s still very scary for an 8 year old girl like me. Hi, my name is Roxanne. I apologize for not having the best days for my photo shoot… I’m just sad and depressed right now, and trying to adjust. I pretty much cower in my cage right now, even though everyone is really nice to me here. I am not aggressive at all, just kinda want to curl up in a ball and hide, and go back to how things used to be. But if you give me a chance, I know I can feel safe and loved again and be a loving sweet and social cat. I just need time and patience. Did I mention I am also microchipped? Well, I am. Right now I just hope someone out there will read about me and believe in the cat I will become, once I learn to trust and feel safe again. So tell me you can understand how things are all upside down for me now?? It’s confusing and scary. I want to be so sweet and friendly, i just need time and patience. I would like a quiet patient home to let me blossom and thrive and trust on my time- can’t you do that for me? I sure would love to have a loving forever home, meaning really forever this time, of my very own!! I want to be a loving good girl.
