I just learned that I was named after a famous female wrestler. This sort of makes sense since I am what you might call sturdy, portly, full-figured, or muscular. Actually, the folks at HSHC tell me I am overweight. I had to have my back shaved because, due to my size, I could not groom myself properly. I arrived at the shelter on March 27 because my owner was moving. I lived with him all my life, and I am 8-years-old. I recently moved into a large Roaming Room full of places to perch, with windows! The problem is I am a smidge shy and feel comfortable sitting in a litterbox or a Kitty Kasa. The thing that floats my boat is when people come into my room for a visit. The interviewer lady (IL) opened the door, and I hopped right up and wobbled over to greet her. I stood with my back to her so she could give me a back scratch. I'm embarrassed to say I have some dandruff, which is pretty itchy. I also turned around so she could pet my head, neck, and ears. It was so lovely that she stayed with me and kept giving me loving attention. I miss having my own person to keep me company. Every time I walked away from her, I returned to get more pets. I have a black coat, with a spot of white on my chest. I'm already spayed and litterbox trained. I will be sitting here waiting for you to come and get me. Yay! 4-16-24
