Meet Riley - partially blind
Meet Riley!
Riley is full of love and spunk. His favorite activities include cuddling on your shoulder and and playing with his favorite toys.
Now, to tell his back story and why he is so special. Riley was rescued as a very sick kitten, but now he is happy and healthy. Riley and his 2 brothers were found in a small den at 6 weeks old, extremely malnourished and had severe eye infections. Although his two brothers thrived and got adopted once they were old enough, Riley needed more care and was critical for a few weeks. After multiple eye surgeries, fighting so hard to live, and winning his battle, he is now a happy go lucky kitten full of life! He is eager to find his new loving, forever family.
Riley would do best in an active home where his people will be happy to play with him and a fur sibling to keep him company while his humans are away at work. He has grown up with two adult cats as well as an elderly chihuahua and does very well with new animals. He loves both children and adults, as long as they don't mind a lot of affection and attention.
Riley has small eye openings with some permanent damage to his corneas. He can still see but has some limitations. He will need eye medication here and there but otherwise is a very healthy 10 month old cat. He has been to the eye specialist several times and we are happy to send you with his records at adoption time.
Please email jessicathompsondvm@gmail.com for an application and more information.
The $125 adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, and a vet exam. Negative test for FIV and FeLV.
