You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ricky! Located in Jersey City, NJ. He is a well-traveled kitty! Ricky hails all the way from Puerto Rico. His human there had health concerns and wanted what was best for him, so she reached out to us to help find him his purrfect home. Unfortunately, it didn't work out with his new mom here as she could no longer care for him properly, again his new family reached out to us asking for help with rehoming him, now that Ricky is back in rescue, he is readjusting to all the recent changes again.

Confused and unsettled to start with, Ricky is now coming around to love and attention from his foster family. He is quite the chatty boy and love his petting sessions but can become a bit cautious with excessive petting. He prefers to lay by his human and will rub against you to let you know he is happy.

Ricky's former foster noted that he was a bit moody at time with the other cats in the home, sometimes setting boundaries with a swat or a pat. No fighting or biting just warnings. So he will probably do best as an only kitty.

With all that Ricky has been thru, he deserves a loving and patient home that he can call his own. Please note Ricky has escaped from his last home thru the front door while his human was getting the mail, so you must be careful around open doors or windows!

Ricky is fully vetted and has been tested for FeLV/FIV and is negative for both.
