Rex is a five year old special needs cat. After being shot in the chest he lost the ability to potty on his own. He just needs an assist 2-3 times a day and is super easy to express. After a year of hydro-therapy he is able to walk and run and even climb stairs as long as he can grip them. Rex has an infectious purr and a Blue Steel smile that will make your heart sing.

Update: Rex is the sweetest cat ever. When he first came to us, he was the welcoming committee for all new cats and especially kittens that needed some grown-up cat training. Nowadays, he just kind of hangs out and stares out the window. He doesn't walk all that much, but he scoots along. He rarely dribbles, or has accidents, unless you forget to express his bladder, and colon. It sounds like a lot of work, and it can be, but he's infectious when it comes to sweetness. His purr is infectious. He absolutely loves humans. I think in a different environment he would go back to being his helpful self. 2/15/2024
