Rami is one of four kittens trapped at a colony, along with his siblings Reko, Riia and Rutta. He is a solid black male with a few white hairs on his chest. At 7 months old, Rami and his siblings began their foster life learning to be indoor cats, and although he is the most timid of the four siblings, he is still a kitten at heart, and has come to love playing, especially with dangly wands like the Cat Dancer. He is also coming to accept being petted and liking the gentle, soothing process once he is relaxed. Because of the late introduction to having food regularly, Rami is highly motivated by food and treats and eagerly licks Churu blobs off your finger and never turns down Temptations treats! A very good way to make friends with this shy sweetie, and encourage bonding with interactive plays too.
Rami loves his siblings and will snuggle with them once they tire from playing. But he may still be scared of encounters with strangers and needs more time till he is totally comfortable around people. Once he becomes at ease in his surroundings, watch this lovely boy shine! Rami needs to be adopted with any one of his siblings, who can be his comfort and security, so his continued progress can be assured.
Would you like to make Rami and maybe one of his siblings too, a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: avacats.org/adopt/adoption-form.
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, first-round of age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption, flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Standard adoption fees are $225 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
