Ralph is a big, soft, tender-hearted boy. He lost the only home he’s ever had because of litterbox issues that began last summer about the same time a new roommate moved in with his mom. Living with 2 adults and a 4-year-old child in a 600 square foot apartment could certainly be stressful, especially for a shy boy like Ralph, and his folks just assumed he needed a less hectic home. Unfortunately, they didn’t have him evaluated by a vet, which is the first thing you should do when a cat starts having issues. When Ralph arrived, we got him right in with the vet, where he was diagnosed with a whopping urinary tract infection as well as having crystals in his urine. He got antibiotics, pain meds, a prescription bladder friendly diet and is all healed up. He was 100% compliant in using his box in foster care and his foster mom would have loved to keep him but he was afraid of her dog. This youngster needs a second chance in a relaxed, dog and toddler free home but he’d love it if his BFF Calico Jack could come with him. An experienced cat lover who will give him lots of TLC and keep him on urinary friendly food would be Ralph’s perfect match. Is that you?
