Meet Quiggley
Quiggley is exactly the kind of cat that makes us do what we do. Quiggley has battle scars, a very bad ear tip and is FIV+ and yet he is the most trusting, affectionate and all around best boy. Quiggley's tough times outside are over forever and he couldn't be happier. Quiggley is now neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for his forever home filled with love!
This kitty has tested positive for FIV, similar to HIV in people. It can not be transmitted through casual contact, sharing food, water, or a litter box. It can not be transmitted to people or other pet species. It is typically only transmitted to other cats via a deep bite wound. FIV positive cats can live long and healthy lives! They do tend to have more dental issues and absolutely must be kept safely indoors at all times.
