Meet Princess Locust
Description: Hi, my name is Princess Locust. Imagine being a Princess and being left outside. Yep, that's what happened--my former owners left me outside to fend for myself. My foster parents took me in and ensured I was well-fed so I could gain weight and regain my frisky composure.
My foster parents are wonderful! They've been teaching me manners. When they first brought me home, I didn't play nice. They tried to play with me and I would nip at them. I also nipped at their hands and feet to indicate I wanted to play. But, after being told "no", I'm learning my manners and becoming the Princess I was destined to be.
After adjusting to my foster parents--and waiting on my "furever" home--I have learned to enjoy belly rubs and sunbathing to keep my tiger-striped fur soft and fluffy. My favorite toys are feather and string toys, scratch boxes, and cat trees to hide in when I need my space. A pink hand towel is my favorite, and I take it with me everywhere.
The home that would be ideal for me would be a single or a couple that love rubbing my belly and have a house with plenty of sunshine for me to sunbathe. And, although my foster parents have other cats in the house, I have my own room and prefer to be the only 4-legged child. My foster parents describe me as having a bit of "tortitude". I guess that means a bit of an attitude and the tendency to roll over and make you rub my belly. It may take some patience while I settle into my "furever" home; but, I promise it's worth it. I'm house-trained, fun, and sweet. They say a dog is man's best friend; I'll be your best friend if you feed me wet food and rub my belly every day.
My IG is @Prettyprincessinphilly
Princess Locust is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and is litter box trained.
