Meet Poppy! (est DOB 08/22 2023)
Poppy and her brother Peter were rescued as feral kittens living outside. When they came into foster care they were very scared and would hide any time their foster parents were in the same room as them.
With a lot of love and patience they have been making great progress and are learning that living with humans isn’t so bad after all!
Poppy is a sweet, shy kitten who is slowly getting more and more confident. Since she has been in foster care, Poppy has learned that she loves pets and scratches. Sometimes she even jumps up for a head bonk. She will tolerate being held, but she prefers it if you get down to her level. Poppy enjoys playtime with her brother Peter and always loves a good snack! She can still be startled easily and is afraid of strangers, so she would do best in a quiet home with someone who will be patient with her progress.
