Meet POOKIE DOB est 8/1/2023, male, neutered, medium-haired tuxedo, vaccinated

Adorable little POOKIE is looking for a brighter future!! He was rescued when found alone during a terrible cold-snap earlier this Fall. He was only a few weeks old with a terrible neck wound, infections, parasites & was malnourished. He was quickly taken to a vet, uncertain if he'd make it. However, with care from the vet and his foster, this sweet boy is healed and now flourishing! He was a champ taking his meds in those early days and quickly turned the corner to feeling better & being an active, energetic kitten which we love to see! POOKIE is an expert biscuit maker and clearly seems so grateful for all the love he can soak up! He's a little guy on the MOVE - energetic, playful, climbing cat trees, chasing toys - making it very difficult to get clear photos of him! He does enjoy watching squirrels & birds outside or cuddling on a lap when he slows down, and is doing well with the older kitty in his foster home. He is afraid of the dog in his foster home, but of course we have no idea how he received his early neck wound - or he may adjust to canine company as he grows up. POOKIE does need to join a home where another younger playful kitty already lives - feline buddies at his age are so important!
