Pookah Siamese Pasco, WA

Pookah is a beautiful 9 year old male Siamese mix. He was surrendered due to his human moving into a home with 4 small dogs that he’s scared of. They felt bad that he spent all his time hiding and wanted to give him a better life. Pookah has been in his foster home since December and still hides. He has his own room and the door has been opened since January. He’s free to come out, but doesn’t (unless he goes on secret missions in the middle of the night, which is entirely possible). The resident cats hang out in his room with him and everyone gets along fine.. We believe Pookah would be happiest as a solo pet in a quiet home, and that with time and patience he will feel safe enough to roam freely. In his previous life as a solo pet, he was social when people came over. Pookah is the odd Siamese that is rarely vocal and he eats dry food only. The only thing high-maintenance about this boy is his lovely long hair that should be regularly brushed. Hopefully once someone earns his trust, they’ll be able to get into a routine of brushing. Pookah has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $50 and includes a complimentary vet exam, coupons from PetSmart and a gift bag from POPP.
