Pollyanna is around 2.5 years old and came to rescue as an unclaimed stray. She is a bit shy and unsure in new situations, but warms up over time to be a sweet girl who likes attention. She's on the more reserved side and does best in a quieter environment without constant action happening. She is good with cats with appropriate introductions- she has not had direct dog introductions. She loves to play with little crinkle balls.

Pollyanna is spayed, updated on fdrc and rabies vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, fecal tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

As part of our adoption process, vet references are checked on past and current pets and must be kept up to date on core vaccinations and annual exams.

Resident cats must also have a negative FeLV test on file.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
