Life has not always been easy for handsome Pierre, and now his situation has become critical.

You see, Pierre and his feline friends were abandoned when their owner moved from a mobile home area. Several of the cats actually starved to death.

Pierre somehow made his way to a neighboring area and found food on a front porch and shelter nearby under a shed. Turns out, he had reached the home of an animal advocate, who kept food out for strays.

She fed Pierre daily, and he began to thrive and trust her to provide the love and affection he once knew. He even allowed her to take him to the vet, as she hoped to bring him inside to join her other rescue animals.

But as fate would have it, Pierre tested positive for the feline leukemia virus. This meant that he could not live inside with her other cats.

She is devastated and is frantically searching far and wide for a cat-free home for Pierre. In the meantime, Pierre is isolated in her garage, depressed and not understanding what has happened.

Pierre would do best in a cat free home or a home with other leukemia positive cats. Pierre craves attention, but is a little shy around new people, so he would need a patient, loving family to give him time to acclimate.
