Pickled Egg is a 4 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!

Meet Pickled Egg! Pickled Egg is one of the sweetest guys around and is waiting for his forever family to find him. While he may be a shy guy who is a bit unsure in new surroundings, once you have earned his trust he absolutely adores pets and gentle cuddles from his favorite people. He especially enjoys head scratches while laying right by your side as he isn't quite sure about being picked up yet. Once he trusts you, he will crawl into your lap for some snuggles and will endearingly tuck his head into your arms to show his affection in return. He is otherwise a very low key and mellow man who prefers to spend his days lounging around whether he's relaxing next to a sunny window, hanging out in his cat tree, or catnapping in a warm and cozy bed.

Pickled Egg is a sweet but shy guy who would prefer a calmer and quieter home where he wouldn't be easily startled by fast movements and loud noises. So, he is looking for a family with slightly older and respectful children at least 8 years of age or older. He did previously live in a home with several other cats and currently resides in a communal living area here at the shelter with some of his feline friends who he looks to for comfort. Since he is much more confident and comfortable with another kitty by his side he would love to have another kitty companion in his new home as well. He may do ok with other respectful pets in the home too given slow and proper introductions to one another.
