Meet Petey

Petey was found in a neighborhood road and taken to the shelter. A hot mess, he had a broken leg, ripped ears and a degloved tail. We took care of his tail right away, so now he just has a stub. His broken leg fused nicely on it's own, so it does not have to be amputated. He is a ball of energy! Once he's worn out, a warm lap is his sleeping preference. He could use another kitty in the home to continue to teach him how to be a nice boy. He is teething and needs things to chew on, or he will chew on you. We expect he will become a dominant male, so if he is adopted as an only cat, he will likely need to remain so.

Petey gets neutered and tested April 25, 2024 and will be ready to go home shortly after.

We only adopt kittens and young cats out within a one hour radius of Wilmington, NC to those over 21 years old. Occasionally we make exceptions for adult cats, but we are not a transport company.
