Meet Pepper & Piper
Pepper (tabby) and Piper (blue point) came into their foster home as unsocialized kittens. But, they have gained so much confidence around other cats and people. Now, they're ready for their forever home together!
Pepper and Piper are shy but loving cats that enjoy getting pets from their trusted humans. They also love to play and cuddle with other cats. Pepper especially loves other cats and will lay by them and rub up against them to say Hi!
One of their favorite activities is eating! They are on a special diet that is good for their sensitive stomachs. They eat Royal Canin GI Fiber Response, which they love! After eating a hearty meal, they're off to play with the other kitties or toys in the home. Piper will chase small, foam ball toys. They're her favorite, and she has so much fun chasing them up and down the hallway! After playtime, there's a lot of relaxation!
Both sisters love to hang out in the cat tower in their foster home. Pepper can be found rolling around and playing with the cats above or below her in the cat tower. Piper loves to sit up high and watch everything around her. She especially enjoys looking out the window and watching the falling snow or the crazy squirrels!
If you want to get their attention, all you have to do is shake a treat bag! They love their treats, and they'll come up to you to ask for some treats. Since these ladies are still on the shy side and take a while to warm up to their humans, treats are a great way to show them that hanging out with humans is rewarding!
Their ideal home is a patient, quiet household. It would be great if their new home had a cat tree or tower where they could climb up high and observe the daily activity in the house. They will take time to acclimate to a new home and new people. Piper is shyer than her sister, Pepper, so the adopter needs to be extra patient with Piper. Other cats in the household are preferred.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
