Meet Penny & Sheldon - Bonded Pair

Penny and Sheldon are a pair of shy siblings who have been waiting a while for their perfect family.
Penny is a silly girl who rarely walks – instead she prances everywhere with the cutest bounce (at least when she isn’t zooming at top speed!). She loves playing with Sheldon and her toys, and she has a favourite blanket that she sometimes carries around the house in her mouth. She also loves looking out the window at the birds. She has the squeakiest little meow that she will use to let you know she wants attention or snacks! She doesn’t like to be picked up, but she will get on the bed between her fosters to ask for snuggles before curling up to sleep.
Sheldon is a floofy boy who also loves to play and frequently carries his foam ball around while singing a song about it. He will even bring it to you for a game of fetch! He has a big, beautiful meow that he busts out to let you know he’s hungry or wants a snuggle. He won’t join his fosters in bed, but he does like to be picked up for short snuggles, and he enjoys being brushed as long as you stop when he lets you know he is finished.
These two would do well in a quiet household with no small children; they probably wouldn’t do well in an apartment building with noisy upstairs neighbours. They love other cats though!
If they’re so adorable, why have they been waiting so long? You see, they are terrified of strangers, so they don’t make a good first impression. They will hunch up in the corner when you come to meet them – no exceptions. But you know what they say about strangers – they are just friends we haven’t met yet! Their fosters want people to know that while they will never love a party, they will be fine as long as they have a quiet room to retreat to when you entertain.
They will also get to know your family and close friends who come around a lot, and will happily hang around when those people visit. When you give them the space and patience they need to trust you, that’s when their sweet and goofy dispositions begin to shine!
