Meet Peeshee & Koochooloo (Bonded Pair)

Peeshee and Koochooloo are two affectionate, fun-loving, confident 8-month-old kittens looking for a loving forever home.

Koochooloo (brown tabby) is a playful, spunky, interactive, snuggly purring machine. She has a cute raspy squeak instead of a meow, which she uses primarily to protest if she is separated from her brother, who she adores. Koochooloo loves to be close to people and will jump into a lap at the first opportunity.

Peeshee (orange tabby) is also playful and affectionate, but his demeanor is a little more gentle and refined. He has soft soulful eyes and will stare into your eyes as he relaxes into sleep on or next to you. He might be embarrassed to know this, but he even has a cute little snore when he is in a deep sleep. The only time Peeshee shows a little bit of a temper is if his meal is late. He'll show his displeasure with a cute scrunched up gremlin face and scolding meows.

Koochooloo and Peeshee love each other so much and spend the great majority of their day wrestling, chasing and grooming each other and snoozing on or near each other. They both love playing with wands, balls and especially crinkle toys. Both are also big fans of cat TV. They would enjoy a forever home with big windows affording the opportunity to watch squirrels, chipmunks and birds.

Koochooloo and Peeshee have enjoyed supervised time outdoors and love "hunting" bugs and rolling in the grass. Peeshee even has a signature bug hunting jump/leap/dance that is very entertaining to watch. They would love the opportunity to have access to the outdoors in a supervised fashion in their forever home. This sweet pair's most favorite hobby however is lounging on or near their hoomans.

Peeshee and Koochooloo have plenty of kitten energy but would best be described as medium-energy kittens. They have spurts of energy in the morning and again in the afternoon, which they spend chasing and wrestling each other. They seek out and enjoy the attention of their people but also engage in independent play and have long snoozing sessions throughout the day. Both cats can get a little bitey around the ankles and hands, but this behavior is very easily diverted by offering a toy to chew on, behavior training that should continue in their new home.

Peeshee and Koochooloo live in a single-family home with 2 adults, 3 teenagers and a resident cat.

The ideal home for Peeshee and Koochooloo would feature another cat or cat-friendly dog and windows offering high-quality cat TV. This sweet pair is very affectionate and accustomed to giving and receiving lots of physical affection. Their forever family should have plenty of time to spend with them and loose standards for personal space :)

Koochooloo has no special needs. She is completely self-sufficient with her one eye. Peeshee will require a special high-fiber diet to help maintain his gastrointestinal health. This pair's forever family should be committed to meticulous maintenance of their litter boxes to help maintain good litter box habits for Peeshee in particular.

Peeshee may require a little more maintenance than average, but this pair's loving, affectionate personalities make the little extra work so worthwhile!

Additional medical information:
Peeshee and Koochooloo are the two perfectly imperfect "undercats" from a litter of six beautiful kittens. Koochooloo was born without one eye, requiring a special eye surgery. She also has a truncated tail (which doesn't impact her in any way). What she lacks in sight and tail length she makes up for in personality. Koochooloo has a silly, funny, affectionate personality and is full of spunk. Even as a little scrawny kitten she was first to instigate wrestling matches with her bigger, stronger brothers. And one of her favorite activities currently is to slowly sneak up on the resident cat to try and initiate play. No matter how many times the crabby resident cat rebuffs her, Koochooloo optimistically keeps up her campaign to befriend the big gray grump.

Peeshee, on the other hand, has been consistently behind his siblings in reaching developmental milestones, especially with his gastrointestinal system. He has overcome giardia, an upper respiratory infection and inconsistent weight gain. After months of battling diarrhea, he was diagnosed with SIBO (https://www.ibdkitties.net/sibo/), which is being well-maintained with a special diet. Through it all, Peeshee purrs his head off, gives and receives kisses and inspires joy in everyone around him with his sweet, gentle disposition.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
