Meet Pedro and Paola
Pedro and Paola are a 4-year-old sibling pair who came to Broken Tail from a partner rescue in Mexico. Pedro and Paula were found as young kittens and bottle-fed. They are incredibly friendly and playful and enjoy a good lap just as much as a good toy. They spend most of the day sleeping on a comfy surface or cuddling with their humans, but around meal times they get rambunctious and want to play. They are very outgoing around visitors and love to be petted and held.
At a young age, they both developed respiratory infections and were treated with antibiotics. Now as adults, they occasionally have respiratory flare-ups when stressed or undergoing any type of change. These flare-ups do typically resolve on their own, and Paula is sometimes treated with nasal drops. We do not anticipate that these URIs will impact their quality of life, but do think an adopter needs to understand that while undergoing their initial adjustment period they may show some signs of a flare-up. We recommend partnering with a veterinarian to help manage these occasional flare-ups appropriately.
